About this Event
SK Sharma is the Chief Analytics and AI Officer for Universal Music Group (UMG). UMG represents many of the top musical artists in the world, including Taylor Swift, Post Malone, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Coldplay, and Atlanta's own Lil Yachty and Gucci Mane.
Starting his career in therapeutic drug design, SK received a PhD from Caltech in Biophysical Chemistry. He has held many roles since then (data scientist, investor, serial entrepreneur), has many issued patents to his name, and he has been an invited guest speaker on topics ranging from AI marketing science, theoretical chemical physics, computational biophysics, and antiviral and antimicrobial therapeutics. And most importantly, he's also a drummer.
In 2016, SK joined Ingrooves, a music marketing and distribution service, to head up their AI and Analytics efforts. UMG acquired Ingrooves in 2019, and SK became UMG's Chief Analytics & AI Officer.
