Hosted by Kb2funny "The Beard Lady", a local comedian and passionate PCOS activist, this event will feature a dynamic panel of experts and advocates, including:
- AÏda, a PCOS advocate, will provide a personal account of living with PCOS and offer guidance on managing the physical and emotional challenges.
- Dr. Sherika Newman, a patient advocate, will focus on the medical side of PCOS, offering expert insights into diagnosis, treatment, and the importance of patient advocacy.
- JoJo, a well-known PCOS advocate and social media personality, will discuss her journey and how she uses her platform to raise awareness and create supportive communities for others affected by PCOS.
- Tierra Redd, an electrolysis specialist, will share solutions for managing common physical symptoms of PCOS, such as excess hair growth, and the importance of self-care in the healing process.
- Talia, founder of "The Closet Ratchet" and an original writer at The Shade Room, will moderate the discussion. As an inspirational speaker for young mothers and entrepreneurs, Talia brings a unique voice to the conversation, encouraging empowerment, personal growth, and the breaking of societal stigmas.
