Make Your Own Summer Clothes | Eco-Fashion Kids Workshop

Come join us at Bread & Oregano for a fun and creative workshop where kids can design and make their very own summer clothes! This hands-on event will teach children about eco-friendly fashion while letting their imaginations run wild. From t-shirts to shorts, your little fashionistas will learn how to upcycle old clothes into trendy new pieces. Don't miss out on this opportunity to encourage sustainability and style in the next generation!

About the session

During this session, we’ll explore different ways we can upcycle our old clothes to create cool tops and shorts just in time for those warmer days: through cutting techniques, fringes, patching up, adding decorations and much more!

Possibilities are endless!

What to bring? Children will need to bring clothes they want to customise (old t-shirts (kid or adult size) to cut and customise, old trousers/shorts to cut and patch up).

What material will be available? Colourful fabrics and accessories like ribbons & beads, fabric markers, scissors, fabric glue, etc.

Minimum age: 7+ (adults must stay inside the premises during the session)

About the organiser

With a background in fashion design, Aurélie has experimented with several creative projects through the years, including clothes making, jewellery making, painting, writing and illustrating. In 2025, she decided to start her own fashion kids club, combining her love for sustainable fashion and hands-on crafting, encouraging children to explore creativity while making a positive impact on the planet!
