About this Event
Join us for a cozy, creative evening of words and making. In this gentle, no-presssure workshop, participants will slow down and spend time with gorgeous words — choosing meaningful quotes, verses, or short poems to carefully cut, roll, and tie with washi tape. These will then be placed into small glass poetry bottles topped with corks to keep for days when you need a little pick-me-up, or gift to someone special.
This workshop is about intention and presence: thoughtfully gathering words that comfort, inspire, or spark joy, and turning them into small keepsakes meant to be revisited or shared. There’s no pressure to write your own poetry — a curated selection will be provided, though you’re welcome to bring a favourite poem or two if you wish.
If time allows, makers can also collage small poetry greeting cards, gift tags, or bookmarks with our leftover poems.
No experience is required. All supplies, plus a glass of wine or cup of tea and treats, will be provided in a warm, welcoming space designed for connection and creativity.
