Get into the holiday spirit with a creative workshop led by award-winning textile designer and upcycler !
In this 2-hour session, you’ll craft a unique Christmas tree decoration using recycled textiles, learning the 3D embroidery stitch ‘Couching’ to bring texture and depth to your festive design.
With a variety of recycled yarns, beads, sequins, and other embellishments on hand, you’ll personalize your tree decoration to reflect your own style. Ashley will guide you in finishing your hoop with washi tape & adding a hanging loop, adding the final polish to your display-ready creation.
Perfect for beginners, this workshop combines learning new upcycling techniques with a fun, relaxed atmosphere. You’ll leave with an original, eco-friendly holiday decoration in a 6-inch embroidery hoop, ready to hang and enjoy.
This workshop is hosted as part of the Redesign Studio at pop up on Marylebone Square.
