Guided by textile artist Helen Walsh and using her templates you will learn how to create a soft sculpture of a sitting bird. We will experiment with combining different textures and patterns of fabrics and embellishments to create unique textile sculptures full of character. We will be using both machine and hand sewing. Materials can be provided but feel free to bring your own fabrics to work with if you would prefer.EQUIPMENT/SET UP
Iron and ironing board provided by Shambellie House.
Do participants need to bring anything? Sewing machine. If you do not have a sewing machine, this can be provided by Shambellie House.
