Come join us at Clay Studio 1242 for a fun and creative event where you can make your very own hand-built mug!
Located at 1242 Main St, our studio provides all the materials you need to create a unique and personalized mug. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced potter, our instructors will guide you through the process.
You will start with clay and will construct and shape your piece. As we guide you through the process you will get to add all kinds of details to truly make it your own.
This in-person event is a great way to unleash your creativity and make something special to enjoy your favorite beverages in. We have tons of textures and fun items to give your piece its unique appearance, but feel free to bring your own too! Things to bring - items to make textures, cookie cutters, circuit stencils (small), and loads of creativity!
Once the mug has gone through our firings in the kiln, it will be food and dishwasher safe for you to use daily for all your beverages.
We do the glaze work for you - all you have to do is pick colors!
Feel free to bring snacks and drinks!

There is plenty of parking on St. George St. & to the back of the building & the main entrance is off Main Street.
Turn around time for pieces is 4-6 weeks. We only fire our kilns when they are completely full to ensure even glazes, efficiency and continue to keep costs low 🙂
