About this Event
Celebrate Asian Heritage Month with Mahjong & Ilocos Empanadas at It's Ok Studios on 468 Queen Street West. It's presented by Lakay Kusina as part of the Common Grain Asian Heritage Month Celebration.
Common Grain is a celebration of East Asian artists and creativity featuring a series of events through the month of May 2026.
We begin our debut year with a focus mainly on music and a food side dish, but we look forward to bringing you much more in the years to come including: visual arts, dance, fashion, crafts, workshops and discussion.
There will be live music, food by Big Norm Alconcel & the Rude Pinoy and an opportunity to play Mahjong with your friends, strangers or loved ones.
If you'd like to sponsor, participate and/or reserve a spot at a Mahjong table or reserve a full table of up to 4, please don't hesitate to ask.
Mah Jong Buy-ins are $15 per person and also comes with an Ilocos Empanada and beverage. If you have a large group coming, and would like full mahjong tables, There is an option too book slots for tables of 4.
It's all happening at 468 Queen Street W at It's Ok Studios from 12pm -11pm.
