About this Event
Winter nights are for dreaming... setting our sights for the spring and summer to come. Channel your intentions into a beautiful, homemade macramé dream catcher in this afternoon workshop taught by fiber artist Asia Roberge. Beginner knotters and those with no experience are encouraged to join. In one session, you will learn foundational macramé techniques that can be applied to a myriad of macramé projects, and leave ready to hang your dream catcher.
We will be working on a metal ring base to create a series of knots, then we will adorn our dream catcher with a gemstone, a feather, and decorative thread. From the comfort of your home, you will be guided through the knotting techniques by detailed and step-by-step instruction. Ample time will be given for individual support.
All dream catcher materials will be sent to you prior to the workshop. All you will need is good lighting, a pair of scissors, and a way to anchor your work (more on this in the course registration).
So put on a pot of tea, roll up your sleeves, and join us February 2nd for a stimulating afternoon of macramé crafting!
*** Please note that due to time needed to prepare and ship materials, the deadline to signup is January 2nd, 2025.
Here is the dream catcher and materials from last session. The stone, feather, and thread for this course may vary slightly due to material availability.
