About this Event
For this residency Lynn, Vince, Laura, KJ and Susan have been working on their project 'Theory of Holes', which is is loosely based on The Diamond Approach; an exploration into how we often become disconnected from self and the holes/voids that shape our perceptions, beliefs and actions. The concept explores how our unconscious patterns we harbour, play out as defensiveness, avoidance or over-achieving.
The creative process is led by dynamic meditation, inquiry and “Coloured Latifias” which are qualities of consciousness and act as a “map” and guide to creating the work. These qualities activate the areas where we often lose our true essence through conditioning, culture, society and our ego defenses/inner critic.
