ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
About The Wong Janice
The Wong Janice is a cellist and composer dedicated to embodying a singular philosophy: to be free. Through immersive, ambient cello soundscapes, she creates a profound space for stillness, healing, and liberation from the mind's burdens. Her music is channeled through an improvisational "flow" state, transforming the cello’s resonant depth using effect pedals and loop machines into layered soundscapes that guide listeners inward.
Janice’s ability to use sound for deep introspection stems from her journey as a classical cellist, which fundamentally shifted after a pivotal Vipassana silent meditation course. This mastery of intuitive sound has made her a recognized leader in the digital wellness space, successfully pioneering virtual meditation concerts for prestigious organizations, including Google (10x), McKinsey & Company, and Target.
Her overall Spotify catalog boasts over 73 million streams, and her latest album was submitted for Grammy® consideration in the Best New Age, Ambient or Chant Album category. She connects with a global community of 58,000 Insight Timer followersand has performed at respected venues and events like TEDxAmsterdam and Down The Rabbit Hole.
Janice’s purpose is to help people worldwide connect to their inner peace and the ultimate freedom of self-expression through music.
