Welcome to the Luminous dance community!
JOIN US for this incredible Luminous collaboration with The Sanctuary &Soul in their beautiful space in Shoreditch. This will be the first of these monthly dances at this beautiful new site.
As the New Moon set to arrive on 16th May signifies new beginnings and a time for setting intentions, we invite you to join us for our signature style of conscious dance. DJ Gumbo will play 2 waves of afro-inspired music from around the world. Bring and instrument to join in - or simply pick a drum or shaker up to add to the vibes.
After the dance feel free to chat, jam, grab some food in the cafe and sauna (+£15), the night is young!
Breakdown
12.30pm - Doors open - Slow gentle music whilst people arrive
1pm - DJ Gumbo will lead us into the dance journey
2.30pm - dance finishes - closing circle
3pm - go fourth and spread the vibes (chat, sauna, eat or jam)

Luminous Ent are ran by a BIPOC community who are dedicated to bringing diversity into the wellness space. Inspired by the lack of representation in the conscious community, we have created all-inclusive spaces where ALL ARE WELCOME - Ecstatic dances, creative classes and sober festivals are a few of the events that we've curated, but we remain open to collaborate with all who have something to contribute towards positively impacting the wellbeing of others.
Our signature conscious dance 'LUMINOUS' is held twice a month, around the full and new moon. Resident DJ Gumbo plays an eclectic mix of afro-inspired music from around the world. There will be percussive instruments throughout the space which encourage you to collaborate with us in creating the musical journey. Our fun, heart-centred experience is an expressive outlet for whatever you have been harnessing, to leave you feeling rejuvenated with a fresh injection of positive energy. We are creating an open forum for the community to input on each month’s events, sharing music that you would love to dance to (either composed by others or by yourself).
Every event is unique as it's inspired by those in attendance, we welcome you to join us!
ABOUT OUR VENUE
