Aiza is an Afrobop Queen on a mission to empower with her signature sound, a catchy and playful fusion of bilingual afropop and R&B. In Fall 2023, the Toronto-based songstress released her much anticipated debut album Sovereignty, which garnered over 2.5 million streams across digital platforms and remained on the !earshot national radio charts for 28 weeks, peaking at #10 in the Top 50. The project features Divinity Roxx (former musical director and bassist for Beyoncé) and its second single “Majimbo” landed in the CBC Music Top 20 charts for six weeks. While cooking up her next batch of bops, Aiza was admitted into the Recording Academy's NEXT CLASS of 2025 (Los Angeles Chapter), cementing her place as one of the rising leaders shaping the future of global music.
