The Mad Studies Hub invites you to join us for the launch of Mad Studies: The Basics, featuring a conversation between Dr. Merrick Pilling and Dr. Jijian Voronka, moderated by Dr. Chris Chapman. This is a mask-required event being held at Glad Day’s new location on Lisgar Street. This event is co-sponsored by the Disability Publics Lab at Toronto Metropolitan University.
Access Information:
This is a mask-required event (high-quality mask required e.g. N95, KF94, KN95). Masks will be provided at the door for those who do not bring one. Refreshments are sold by the venue and there is a separate designated area on the ground floor to unmask for eating and drinking. Please note the venue is in the style of a loft so the upstairs event space is not fully enclosed. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, with elevator access to the event space and wheelchair-accessible washrooms. Front-row wheelchair-accessible seating can be booked (please email this as an access request). ASL interpretation will be provided.
