About this Event
Lucy Lundström
Lucy Lundström's work is a window to a rich inner world. Her lyrics tell wistful stories featuring pickled jars, antique clocks, and forbidden love.
Together with an acoustic guitar, field recordings and a small ensemble, she will be returning to MAP Studio Café to celebrate her debut release ‘Enclosure’ - an album-length collection of orginal songs and experimental audio.
Originally a humble bass player and sound tech from Sweden, Lucy has spent the past decade exploring many facets of London's underground music scene - picking up tricks, vocabularies, and bruises along the way. The process of making ‘Enclosure’ Lucy describes as a “painstaking, enlightening and deeply embarrassing” step out of her comfort zone and into the light.
Her previous work has been featured on BBC Radio 6, Shindig! magazine, and Astral Pierrot Radio.
