Join Movement for Choice on February 12th, 7-9 PM at (1825 18th St NW Washington, DC 20009) for an evening of music, meaningful conversation, and collective care in a stunning space generously donated by our dear friends at PLNTR. 🌿
Abortion can be an act of radical self-love —it's about trusting ourselves to know what’s best for our bodies and futures. This Galentine’s, let’s put love into action by assembling abortion care packages for our community. Each kit will be filled with thoughtful essentials like menstrual pads, fuzzy socks, herbal tea, heating pads, self-care goodies, and handwritten notes of support. All packages will be donated to a local abortion provider to directly support those seeking care.
We’re also so grateful to be hosting this event at , a locally-owned plant shop dedicated to connecting and uplifting the DC community. PLNTR’s ethos—Plants for the People—centers local advocacy, sustainability, and supporting small, mostly women-owned businesses in the DMV. Be sure to check them out and show them some love for opening their space to us! 🌱💚
