Focus Group: How Do You Choose the Perfect Celebration Cake?
Do you enjoy cake and often buy cakes for birthdays, celebrations or special gatherings?
We’re inviting members of the public to join a friendly 2-hour focus group to talk about how people in Liverpool, Chester and Wirral choose and order celebration cakes.
This session is part of a wider research project exploring how customers find, select and buy cakes. We want to hear about your experiences - what matters to you, where you buy from, and what makes the perfect celebration cake.
During the session you will:
• Complete a short questionnaire
• Take part in a relaxed group discussion
• Share your experiences of buying celebration cakes
Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who:
• Enjoy cake
• Occasionally or regularly buy cakes for birthdays or celebrations
• Live in or around Liverpool, Chester or Wirral
We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds, and we are aiming for a good mix of genders and perspectives.
Bringing someone with you
If you arrive with someone, they are welcome to wait in the restaurant area of the venue while the focus group takes place.
Please note the focus group room is for participants only.
Accessibility
The focus group room is located up a large flight of stairs, which participants will need to use to access the session.
How selection works
Places are limited. After booking, you will be asked three short pre-screening questions to help us ensure a good mix of participants.
Once we receive your booking request, we will confirm your place by email or telephone if you are selected to take part.
As a thank you for taking part, participants will receive:
• £15 payment
• Complimentary refreshments during the session
