About this Event
Safari Rhyme and Storytime – with special guests!
Come and join in a safari-themed rhyme and story time, with stories, songs and activities.
Together, we’ll enjoy the book Safari Stomp by Caryl Hart, illustrated by Nicola Slater.
Children can get on their feet and join in the actions and the fun.
We’ll be joined Frank Cottrell-Boyce (children’s author and Waterstones Children’s Laureate) and Mike Merriman (GP at Millbrook Medical Practice) and BookTrust – who want to hear from you.
In Knowsley, how can we share stories better as a community?
What needs to happen to make it easier to enjoy books and stories as a family?
Frank, Mike and the BookTrust team are looking forward to meeting and chatting with you all.
Please book for the amount of all adults and children who are attending.
Filming and photography
During the rhyme and story time BookTrust, will be filming and taking photos to share on their social media, their website, the media and as part of its Reading Rights campaign with Frank Cottrell-Boyce.
Photos and filming will also be shared on Knowsley Council’s website and social media.
If you don’t want to be in photos or filmed, just reply to this email and let us know.
We will also ask you again on the day to check if you’re happy to be included in photos and filming with BookTrust and Knowsley Council.
