It’s a New year! Let’s start it together at the Saxon Pub with the Lost Austin Band on Saturday, January 17th at 4:00 PM. We hear a lot about “the good old days,” but in Texas what’s that mean? It means Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Townes Van Zandt, Rusty Wier and a host of great Texas singer-songwriters whose music defined a generation and started what’s now called Americana music. It’s the music that made Austin, “Austin.”
Members of the Lost Austin Band were there at the beginning of this golden musical era, played it, and helped make it. They bring that tradition and those wonderful songs to the Saxon Pub, 1320 South Lamar in Austin. It’s an early show in a comfortable venue that prizes great sound and friendly service.
