London Camera Meet Up (Pre BSC Expo)

Videographer, photographer, visual creative? Join our London camera meet up event for the chance to connect with fellow creatives, swap experience, and get inspiration as we walk from Victoria Station to Battersea Park where the British Society of Cinematographers Expo is taking place.
The event is free to attend and will be a relaxed take on the popular photowalk format where we will meet up as a group and walk through scenic areas of central London taking photos and videos at our own pace. There will also be the opportunity to continue on to BSC Expo at Battersea Evolution afterwards.
Who can join?

Videographers and photographers that want to shoot in a social environment.
Filmmakers that want to meet visual creatives to talk about projects they are working on
Anyone that wants to test out equipment or experiment with creating something new
BSC Expo attendees that want to start their day with informal networking with other creatives

Everyone is welcome at the camera meet regardless of their level of expertise, from new starter to seasoned pro. You will need to bring your own camera equipment, and do so at your own risk, however it is not essential to take photos or video to be part of the meet up if you would rather just socialise.
Notes on continuing afterwards to BSC Expo

BSC Expo is a free to attend event taking place Friday 13th and Saturday 14th at Battersea Evolution aimed at film and television professionals that features the latest cinematography, lighting, and grip equipment as well as a programme of panels and seminars. Please note that this meetup is a separate unaffiliated event, you will need to register separately to attend BSC Expo via the event’s official website. BSC Expo has a number of entry requirements that may influence what you plan to bring for the London Camera Meet Up. Please take these into consideration if you plan to continue on to this event afterwards.

The following rules are referenced from the BSC webiste:
All bags larger than handbag or laptop bags must be stored in our cloakrooms – if you do not have to bring larger bags we ask you not to as the cloakrooms do get very busy and you may need to queue.

Any bag which is small enough to enter the event in will be searched on entry and exit of the Expo

If you wish to bring in any cameras or filming equipment (other than mobile phones) during the open period of the exhibition you must have prior consent from BSC. If you do not apply for this it may cause a delay in you entering the exhibition or mean your goods will have to be stored in our offices during your visit.
