We invite you for a celebration of the Living Laboratory programme at a showcase event on Friday 19th June at the Teaching & Learning Centre, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital campus.
The day will highlight the Living Laboratory’s journey, showcasing our collaborative approach to healthcare innovation, the projects that have brought it to life, and the outcomes they’ve delivered. Through artwork, videos, posters, and insights from our core team and partners across industry, academia, healthcare, and the local community, the event will provide an interactive space to explore the programme, celebrate its impact, and reflect on how its partnerships and achievements can be sustained and expanded into the future.
What is the Living Laboratory programme?
The Living Laboratory is a University of Glasgow-led programme that is dedicated to strengthening Glasgow’s position as a leader in healthcare innovation. By working in partnership with researchers, industry, clinicians and the public, we support the creation, refinement, and clinical evaluation of groundbreaking healthcare solutions that will transform patient outcomes.
By fostering a vibrant, collaborative ecosystem, the Living Laboratory is attracting businesses to Glasgow and fuelling the development and growth of local companies. This expanding industry cluster is creating new job opportunities, enhancing skills and driving local economic growth in Govan and Glasgow.
