Join us in conversation with Ingrid Hu Dahl as she discusses her first book, a memoir of her life, as she describes how she lives boldly.
About this Event

Ingrid Hu Dahl will be joined with her friend, Jaya Saxena, as they discuss Ingrid's first book, Sun Shining on Morning Snow. This book is a powerful memoir on self-discovery as Ingrid shares how she navigates life being mixed race, queer, and most of all - how to live boldly.

Speaker Bios:

Ingrid Hu Dahl is an author, speaker, and leadership coach. She is the author of Sun Shining on Morning Snow: A Memoir of Identity, Loss, and Living Boldly. As the founder of her own coaching and consulting practice, she brings over two decades of experience in leadership development across corporate (Meta, Gap Inc, Capital One), media (KQED), nonprofit (BAVC, Academy for Educational Development), and social justice organizations. A TEDx speaker and founding member of Willie Mae Rock Camp in Brooklyn, Ingrid is passionate about amplifying underrepresented voices and guiding the next generation of leaders. www.IngridHuDahl.com | www.SunShiningonMorningSnow.com


Jaya Saxena is a lawyer and inclusion strategist with nearly two decades of experience advancing equity and belonging within organizations. She brings a global, systems-focused lens to her work, helping professional services firms evolve legacy structures to better support underrepresented talent. An avid reader and aspiring death doula, Jaya is also deeply engaged in community leadership through her nonprofit board service. She lives is Washington, DC and is the mom of two delightful and spirited young daughters, ages 8 and 12, whose curiosity inspires her commitment to building a more just and compassionate world.
