About this Event
Sad House Guest is a Chicago band that makes music because nothing else makes sense. Their music is a blend of folk-punk, indie-pop, and alt-rock that showcases stream-of-conscious lyrics with energetic, easy-to-listen-to instrumentation. The band recently released their newest EP "Quarters", which is slightly calmer and more serious than its predecessors but with all the acoustic guitars, heavy drums, and wordy verses that make up a Sad House Guest tune. Since this project was thematically about money, they decided to spend no money making it, producing it completely DIY.
EsMod is an Ethiopian rapper-violinist newly based in Chicago, IL. His blend of conscious hip-hop and classical violin makes his music a one-of-a-kind experience for rap enthusiasts and music lovers alike. The Georgia-born artist is known for his motivational lyrics full of affirmations and his passionate live performances that take the meaning behind his music to a whole other level.
