Inspired by the childhood of German film director Charlotte (Lotte) Reiniger, known as 'The Queen of Silhouettes', this story captures the magic that shaped her dreams.

A young woman enchanted by the early 'moving pictures' and inspired by fairytales and her forest adventures, Lotte embarks on a fantastical journey filled with magic, dragons and A young woman enchanted by the early 'moving pictures' and inspired by fairytales and her forest adventures, Lotte embarks on a fantastical journey filled with magic, dragons and animal friends as she aspires to become a pioneering filmmaker.

This charming tale encourages children to follow their dreams while introducing them to a historical heroine to admire.
