We’ll kick things off at 9:30am at Little Fistral, Newquay, where the team from Newquay Beach Care will be there to welcome you. They’ll provide all the equipment you need for the beach clean—just bring yourself, some weather-appropriate clothing, and a good dose of enthusiasm.
The beach clean itself is a great way to connect with others while making a visible difference to the coastline. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned litter-picker, it’s a relaxed and rewarding activity for everyone.
Alongside the clean-up, we’ve got some special guests joining us. Blue Reef will be bringing along fascinating marine props, including real dried lobster molts—perfect for getting a closer look at how these incredible creatures grow and change.
The highlight of the morning comes with help from the National Lobster Hatchery, who will be bringing baby lobsters ready for release. An unforgettable, hands-on way to support marine conservation.
To keep everyone going, there’ll also be some light refreshments available.
