Barra Del Sal
Sprouted from envy and with envy they stride forward. After years behind the stage organising festivals and clubs, the need to take over the stage became too great. Barra del Sal is raw electronic potato punk with synths, drum machines, roaring microphones and unfortunate vocoders.
The trio consists of a devil's pick with influences of industrial, elevator pop and herring romanticism. The lyrics might go from English, to Spanish, to Swedish all in the same song. A reason for this might be that the songs are crafted together live in a sometimes very cold, sometimes exhaustingly warm minimal basement studio. The essence of the band is that they want to be able to create it live and play it after having seen a laptop too many.
