Through movement, meditation, and creative enquiry, we will explore in the ways that human beings have always done - carving out protected time, using tested, skilful methods, being held in a supportive environment, and accompanied by trusted companions. We are coming together to support one another in our depth explorations of what it means for us to be human, on this earth, at this time.
Time in retreat offers us much-needed perspective, space to be with our experience with wisdom and gentleness, to listen closely and allow the deeper parts of our being to be heard.
Time in retreat allows the ancient ways of being and knowing within us to rekindle, to light the spark of our natural intelligence and inspiration, to become the ground on which we walk.
If you want to navigate this threshold time of global transformation with clear eyes, warm hearts and open hands, motivated by the genuine wish to wisely participate in what is unfolding on this planet, you are welcome here and in good company.

The Baton House and valley environment provides sanctuary and shelter, a place of repose, a chance to let go and unravel; a place to cultivate and contribute to a compassionate, regenerative world. The mauri of the whenua in the Baton Valley is said to be very intact, and is deeply supportive of inner work.
