Grammy Nominated acid jazz pioneers Liquid Soul are a fiery concoction of classy soloists, heavy rhythm merchants and hip-hop cognoscenti. They are a group that thrives on contact with their audience. One cannot help being moved by Liquid Soul‘s legendary live shows. The band’s in-the-tradition repertoire extends from classic compositions by Ornette Coleman and Miles Davis to heavy groove, breakbeats, freestyles and samples. They continue to bridge the musical gap between standard jazz improvisation, funk, soul and Hip Hop. And as always, the band stays true to its roots with a continued philosophy of bringing jazz back to the dance floor. Liquid Soul has performed in 40 + states and throughout Canada and Japan, plus shows in Germany, Turkey, Russia, Austria, Poland, Mexico and beyond...

A name synonymous with Chicago’s music scene for over 30 years. Known for pushing musical boundaries and taking his audience on a journey. Spinning records since 1985, his roots can be traced to Chicago’s early B-Boy / Hip Hop scene (The Break-Dancing and Graffiti Art movement). Jesse helped lay the foundation for Chicago’s vibrant Hip-Hop scene through his weekly Hip Hop Club night “The Blue Groove Lounge” 1994-2003. The event showcased both national and local performers and DJs weekly. One of the nation’s longest running Hip Hop events. You just never knew who you might see hanging out or performing.
Seamlessly bridging different musical genres, fusing Jazz, Funk, Soul, Reggae, Hip Hop, Rock, New Wave, Disco, House, Latin, World and Classic Dance music into a unique style of his own.
With special opening act DJ Jesse De La Peña. Event features a General Admission Dance Pit in front of the stage! All sales are final, no refunds/exchanges permitted, but tickets may be transferred through your TM Account. Garcia's is fully ADA compliant featuring wheelchair lifts and ramps between the various levels of the venue, assisted listening devices upon request, and allows official service animals. Premium Table seating is located closest to the stage offering the most intimate music experience for guests and includes table service. Reserved Table seating is located on our main floor, behind the Premium section, and also includes table service. Both Premium and Reserved table seating is cabaret style which means you may be sitting with other fans. Private Booths are available and depending on the booth seats 1 to 4, 5, or 6 guests. General Admission/Standing Room is located around the sides of the room on an elevated level for quality viewing and easy bar access.
