This talk will look at some of London’s historical queer communities, based on collections held at Guildhall Library, The London Archives and Shoe Lane. It will particularly focus on the 18th century and the 20th century.

Melanie Strong is Senior Librarian at Guildhall Library, where they have worked for the past 9 years. Before that Melanie worked at Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives managing the library collection.
