A day of workshops and an evening of dance to raise funds for 4trauma4patients charity which supports severely injured in-patients at the Queen Elizabeth hospital, Birmingham.
Lulu Sabongi is our star teacher and performer at the event.

Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the age of seventeen fell in love with the Arabic culture. She began studying Oriental Dance with the Brazilian based Armenian dancer Madeleine Iskandarian known professionally as Shahrazad. She started dancing professionally at Khan El Khalili Egyptian Tea House in Brazil; founded by Jorge Sabongi in 1982 Khan El Khalili had shows every day of the week. Although she loves Oriental dance she wanted to very much embrace her Brazilian roots and blends the dance she grew up with, with the one she’s grown to love.

Lulu has taught for many years and is a truly dynamic, informative and inspirational sought after dancer and teacher, and a great ambassador for dance. She is in high demand for workshops and performances throughout the world; we are fortunate and blessed to have her teaching and dancing here for the first time in Birmingham. An opportunity to learn and watch her perform not to be missed.
