Letters to the Earth

Letters to the Earth is a guided writing session open to all ages, inviting participants to reflect on their relationship with the world and the environment. Through thoughtfully designed writing prompts, attendees will create a meaningful piece that explores how they interpret nature, place, and their role within it. This reflective and creative session will take place at the Fickling Centre in the Waikowhai Room, offering a calm and welcoming space for personal expression and connection.

You can interpret the prompts however you like and write in any format whether that be poem, prose, essay or letter.
If it is sunny, bring a picnic blanket so we can enjoy the sunshine and connect with nature around us out in the park.
