Debbie Allen Dance Academy, in partnership with BMO and Oakland Museum of California, proudly presents Let Freedom Ring, LEGACY: A Centennial Celebration. Join us for a vibrant day of culture, creativity, and connection as we honor the legacy of the incomparable Debbie Allen and celebrate the power of community across generations.
This free, all-ages event will feature museum exhibition tours, hands-on workshops, a special screening of 100 Years of Debbie Allen, and a live virtual Community Conversation and Q/A with Ms. Allen, moderated by acclaimed musician and cultural leader Kev Choice.
Guests can also enjoy curated vendors, local artists, community organizations, food pop-ups, live performances, a DJ, family-friendly activities, and more throughout the day. With full access to the museum's exhibits, beautiful outdoor spaces and garden, Let Freedom Ring transforms the campus into a dynamic gathering place where art, culture, history, and community come together.

This event is all ages. All attendees must reserve a space in advance. Donations encouraged to support DADA Scholarships and Outreach Programs.
