About this Event
Lessons I learned the hard way—so you can sing the easy way!
Singing should feel good. Whether you’re at the top of your singing game or just getting started as a singer, it's important to have the right vocal health tools to help keep your voice feeling strong – for today’s performance and for a lifetime. Think of it like exercise: it's not just for when something feels tight. It's to keep everything feeling right.
If your singing voice feels uncomfortable, is unreliable from day to day, or shows signs like waking up hoarse or low, constant throat clearing, excess mucus, or difficulty warming up, you may be experiencing one of singers’ most common challenges: vocal swelling.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how inflammation affects your voice—and what you can do to prevent and treat it. Come ready to learn about swelling, and you'll leave bubbling with insights. Literally. You'll learn how blowing bubbles in water is a cutting edge therapeutic practice for managing vocal fold swelling. We're going to learn to go from feeling swollen to feeling swell!
You’ll come away with practical tools to:
- Increase vocal stamina
- Reduce and manage vocal fold swelling
- Improve consistency and control
- Recognize early warning signs of vocal fatigue
- Build sustainable habits for long-term vocal health
- Love your voice a little more each day!
