Born a Chicago Native raised in Detroit Singer /Songwriter Lee Taylor receive much of his musical instruction from his mother who was a singer starting at age 5 and was also greatly influenced by Detroit gospel music scene including work shops and studies with Dorinda Clark Cole of the world famous Clark Sisters & singing background with various recording artist and choirsLee Taylor launched on the music scene officially as a solo recording artist with his first house music release as his pseudonym C T Martin titled:“Hands Up “releasing on Soundmen on Wax Records in 2008. This song debuted on the soulful house charts reaching number one on traxxsource ,this followed with several chart topping releases in the house dance music genre :Count on me ,Grateful,My Angel and the latest house release Stronger …these releases made him a vocal favorite amongst international DJs yielding remixes from renowned producers like DJ Kenny Carpenter ,DJ Spen, Mario Marques and Mark Demao .In 2021 he decided to shift gears releasing his first R&B soul release “The I love you song as Lee Taylor “ which was highly streamed on Spotify ..looking elevate his sound Lee Taylor enlisted the recording and mixing talents of his former SAE classmate Diamond 10x Platinum Grammy Winner Cardi B “ Invasion of privacy “Bodak Yellow “ recording and mixing engineer Michael Ashby on his New 2024 Afro Beat R&B Single Release “ I DESERVE “ Now Available on all Platforms This project was a long time anticipated collaboration of talent between the two.
