In this lecture, we’ll explore the enduring and often bizarre portrayal of the Titanic after its tragic sinking. Isabella will engage us in a thought-provoking conversation about whether we should allow our hearts to go on after such immense tragedy or if some stories are better left undisturbed at the ocean floor.
Isabella Tecson is an adjunct professor of screenwriting, creative writing, and English at Queens College and CCNY, where she is also a creative nonfiction MFA candidate. With nearly a decade of experience as a script doctor, she has collaborated on numerous documentaries and indie films using her "structure first, ego's later" approach. Isabella brings a theater-kid sense of humor paired with extensive research and an affinity for film.
