About this Event
Also contributing to the fundraising efforts with his prints and new photo book is Lebanese photographer Taha Chanouha.
About the show
As a comic, Habib has always used his stand-up to help raise awareness about the situation in the Middle East - experiencing war, navigating dissonante realities, and making sense of a world that is increasingly uncrecognizable.
Conversational and engaging, Habib shares stories about growing up in Lebanon, his family, and unexpected life turns. You will laugh, think, feel, and laugh some more.
(Please note that this performance is in English)
About the fundraising
Ticket, book, and prints sales, as well as a portion of food and beverage go to suporting Jibal - a Lebanese non-profit working in food security.
Jibal's Solidarity Fund helps provide meals to displaced families and those in need. For transparency reasons, they issue regular reports detailing activities and the use of donations.

About Habib
Born on Christmas day, a stone’s throw from Bethlehem, Habib thought he was the second coming and almost entered priesthood. Several countries and questionable life decisions later, he completed a Ph.D. at McGill University only to start doing stand-up.
Habib currently splits his time between Canada and Lebanon, and may (definitely) own more shoes than anyone you know.

About the book
A note from Taha:
“I See You Differently Now” is the first ever large scale book I printed. 100 pages, over 100 photos of Lebanon. In case you didn’t know, thats where I’m from.
With a war going on back home, I decided to donate the profits of my book towards Lebanese organizations that will put it to good use.
So if you’re a Lebanese expat, know a Lebanese person, or just want some beautiful photos of Lebanon. Then this book is for you.
