Take in a once-in-a-lifetime art experience in the heart of the Nations Capital! Join Finn Gerhardt (Northeast Person of Leather 2025) and fellow leatherfolk as we witness history. For the first time, legendary artists Jean-Michel Basquiat and Banksy will have work on display at the Nation's museum of modern and contemporary art.
One of each of their paintings (Basquiat's "Boy and Dog in a Johnnypump (1982)" and Banksy's response work, "Basquiat. Boy and Dog in Stop and Search (2018)") will be presented in dialogue as the focal point of the exhibit surrounded by 20 more of Basquiat's works and an avant-garde film made by him in his early days.
This museum is free to the public. All attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation.
if you're interested in sponsoring the transportation of an attendee in financial hardship, please contact Finn directly.
