About this Event

Home Rule Music Festival at Alethia Tanner Park

On Saturday, October 4, 2025, the Home Rule Music Festival returns for Part Two of this year’s celebration—transforming Alethia Tanner Park into a vibrant stage for D.C.’s rich and diverse musical heritage. From 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., audiences will enjoy an electrifying day of live performances, DJs, food, and community.

Free and open to the public, the Home Rule Music Festival is more than just a concert—it’s a community gathering that uplifts local artists, celebrates cultural diversity, and honors the city’s musical legacy. In addition to music, festival-goers can enjoy food trucks, local vendors, family-friendly activities, and plenty of space to relax and connect.

This October event builds on the momentum of the record-breaking June 2025 festival at The Parks at Walter Reed, continuing the mission of the Home Rule Music & Film Preservation Foundation.
