Over two class sessions, you'll gain hands-on experience that will prepare you for your drywall patch and paint repair needs.
About this Event

In this two-session class, you'll learn the basics of repairing holes in walls and ceilings. From tiny patches to larger teardowns, a few simple tools and some inexpensive products make it easy to fix patches so that you can't even see where it was fixed.

This is a hands-on class, where you'll get a chance to practice the skills in a safe environment. Wear clothes that you don't mind getting paint on. The second session will be outside, so dress warm.

Please be sure you can make it to both of the class periods (listed below) and register only for the first date listed (March 22nd):

  • Session One: Sunday, March 22nd, from 11am–12:30pm at the NE Seattle Tool Library
  • Session Two: Sunday, March 29th, from 12–1pm at the NE Seattle Tool Library

About the instructor, Afton Lewis: Afton has a professional background in restoration painting and drywalling. His repair projects have included repairing fire damage, basement floods, etc.

Our sliding scale for classes helps to reduce barriers for participation while retaining sufficient income for Seattle REconomy, which owns and operates the NE Seattle and Shoreline tool libraries. Please choose the level that best fits your family’s income.
