Leading with Purpose, Influencing with Compassion: Women Executives Changing the Game
Everywhere we turn, we are seeing backlash, people acting with impunity, and decisions that send hard-won progress backward. Yes, discouraging, but my question is: can individual women’s personal power of purpose and kindness change this reality?
Nancy Griffin of “Women, Worth & Wellness” has curated a fabulous workshop coming up on November 7th, 2023. The event will be hosted by MNP, Mary Larson, Partner. During this session, we will explore that question together.
In the workshop environment, we will get you thinking of the practical ways that we, as women leaders, can use our personal definitions of Purpose – backed by our values – as powerful instruments for change by shifting conversations, remaking policies, redefining cultures, getting strategies back on track, learning from one another, and encouraging meaningful and respectful exchange of idea.
Our Host and Speakers have ideas, information and inspiration to share that will could resonate, and then each of will have an opportunity to do some thinking about our own Purpose and Values.
In this interactive mini-workshop, Purdeep Sangha, founder of the Executive Lab, a firm that rests on the belief that Exceptional leaders develop a bold vision for themselves and their organizations, will speak about how your actions can either enable or disrupt results. This will be followed by a discussion with several fabulous women, including Wendy Cukier, Vickery Bowles, Jennifer Laidlaw, and Melanie Rodriguez, to talk about the times that they have used their vision and energy to drive positive outcomes—seemingly against big barriers.
Our hope is that you will come away from this occasion not only inspired, but armed with a better sense of your own potential power and influence, and some approaches that you can deploy in your own lives.

Nancy Griffin
Established in 1994, Women, Worth and Wellness™ is a program for Boomer Women and their daughters, designed to instruct, inspire and inform women on ways that will enhance their personal well being and independent economic power.
Not only do health and wealth go hand in hand, but self worth and net worth are codependent. Self worth comes from many things, but having a say in decisions that are made, and “having a seat and a voice at the table” goes a long way to being in control of your own life.
Nancy continues to promote and inspire Daring & Caring Leaders, encouraging them to step up and lead in the world, following in the footsteps from many other powerful Women Leaders in the past.
What daring and caring women leader(s) do you admire?
I admire Nellie McClung, one of The Famous Five in Canada, who achieved Persons Day 93 years ago on October 18th, for women to be recognized as persons and be able to vote and run politically like men do. Her quote that I love is “Never retreat, Never explain, Never apologize, get the job done and let them howl"!
I also admire Former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, aka RBG, whose famous quote was “Fight for the things that you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you”!
Former US Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright (when Hillary Clinton was running for US President in 2016), famous quote was “There is a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women”!
