Leadership in Divided Spaces: Skills for Disagreeing Better (Workshop 2)

Disagreements are a part of life, but conflict doesn’t have to be. Join Braver Angels and the Bishop Center for Ethical Leadership for a series of workshops that teach proven communication skills to help you navigate difficult conversations. This interactive workshop series helps students understand polarization and develop communication skills to navigate tense conversations with confidence. Students will learn how to listen better, respond thoughtfully, and keep discussions from turning into conflict. The culmination is the development of a town hall experience where participants will use the skills to identify a local issue of importance to them and work together to produce possible solutions.
