Lead with Clarity

Many capable women don’t stall out because they lack talent or ambition. They stall when it comes to introducing themselves clearly, naming what they want next, and asking for it in a way others can act on.

This International Women’s Day, Lean In Network, Singapore, in collaboration with She Loves Data and Cisco is hosting “Lead with Clarity” — a highly interactive workshop for mid to senior professional women who want to be more intentional about their career direction and visibility.

Across three focused modules, you will learn simple frameworks to:

• Introduce yourself in 30 seconds in a way people remember
• Define what you want next in your career so others can meaningfully respond
• Ask for opportunities, sponsorship, or support without over‑explaining or underselling

This is not a passive panel or motivational talk. It is a working session where you will think, write, practise, and receive real feedback in a supportive environment. Your S$59 ticket includes a 2.5‑hour workshop, food and refreshments provided by Cisco, and live practice with senior sponsor perspectives.

Over the course of the evening, we will work through three essential career skills:

• Your 30‑second introduction
  Introduce yourself clearly and confidently so people understand who you are and how you add value.
• Your next career move, defined
  Articulate what you want next in your career (12–24 months) in a way that makes it easy for others to help.
• How to ask for it
  Make clear, specific asks for opportunities, sponsorship, or support — without apologising, over‑explaining, or shrinking your ambition.

You’ll see each framework demonstrated live, and then you’ll apply it yourself.

By the end of the session, you will have:

• A refined personal elevator pitch you can use in meetings, networking, and reviews
• A clear, specific career ask for the next 12–24 months
• A practical framework for making asks that land with decision‑makers
• Experience practising your ask with real sponsor perspectives from senior leaders
• Greater confidence in how you show up, speak about your work, and advocate for yourself

Walk the Talk is a Singapore-based initiative focused on active male allyship, specifically sponsorship, not mentoring.

Traditionally, Walk the Talk runs around International Women’s Day as our flagship sponsorship initiative, bringing senior male leaders and women together to actively open doors to progress women in the workplace.

This year, the 3rd edition of Walk the Talk will take place on 15 May, 2026. Lead with Clarity is our IWD event, focused on building the clarity and language women need before sponsorship conversations happen.

Think of this workshop as the foundation. Walk the Talk is what follows.
