About this Event
Real Talk. Real Stories. Real Connection.
Le Goûter (pronounced "goo-TAY" - rhymes with “hooray”) is Flyberry’s editorial platform and live conversation series.
Hosted by Ally Potel, a creative producer and event curator from Paris and based in Vancouver, this intimate series invites guests and audiences into honest, heart-opening dialogue.
Each episode brings two guests to the couch to share stories we don’t usually tell at work or on social media, stories about identity, ambition, reinvention, and the moments that quietly change us. We record in front of a small group of guests (10-30 guests) and after the conversation, we stay for a little while, reflect, and talk.
This isn’t a panel. It’s not a performance. It’s an invitation to be part of something honest and human.
🎙 The Episode
"I Love My Child. Why Do I Miss Who I Was?"
Becoming a parent changes everything. The love is real, deep, and overwhelming. But alongside that love, many parents quietly experience something they rarely say out loud: missing the person they were before.
The version of themselves who had more freedom. More spontaneity. More time to think, create, rest, and simply exist outside of the role of “mom” or “dad.”
In this episode of Le Goûter, we open an honest conversation about the identity shift that comes with parenthood. How do you hold space for both truths, loving your child deeply while also grieving parts of your former self? Is it possible to reconnect with who you were while embracing who you are now?
Join us for a thoughtful and candid discussion with two guests who will share their personal experiences navigating this delicate balance. If you’re a parent, thinking about becoming one, or simply curious about the realities behind the picture-perfect image of parenthood, this conversation will resonate.
Come listen, reflect, and be part of the conversation.
