About this Event
Our Layers Contained workshop combines DIY paper-making and collage to explore healing through a creative and tactile experience. This workshop allows participants to layer image and text in the paper pulp they have created to explore themes around revealing and concealing related to survivorship.
This workshop will be led by our amazing Teaching Artist, Leah Husky. Leah is a multi-disciplinary artist with a background in performing arts. She has served on Awakenings’ Art Committee and Volunteer Committee and has been a member in Awakenings’ Cohort program. She is excited to begin her second year as a Teaching Artist!
We are so excited to kick off our first workshop of the year and hope you join us for it!
