About this Event
Learn the basics of hand broom making with Becka Viets of Hexagon Textile & Broom, with a lavender twist! Participants will make two turkey wing brooms, one clasic version and one with fresh lavender. All supplies are included.
Supplies to make two+ brooms are included. Additional supplies will be available for purchase. Recommended ages 16+. Physical abilities needed: grasping, holding, turning/rotating, maintaining tension between a stick under feet and a broom in hands. Good grip strength and hand-foot coordination is recommended.
Becka is joining us from Bellingham to teach this class!
This class is held at the Art Barn at the new Alchemy Art Farm at 45 Hawthorne Lane. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.
Registration: Please register early if you are able, as it helps us to assure that classes meet their minimums in order to run!
