About this Event
The publication features contributions by artists and writers Eilidh Duffy, Ella Fleck, Solomon Garçon, Raheel Khan, Eileen Myles, Ethan O’Connor, Perfume Area, Bishwadhan Rai, R.I.P Germain, Ariana Reines, Shanzhai Lyric, and Elida Silvey. Spanning critical writing, diaristic texts, and photo essays, the publication takes scent as a departure point to trace how emotion, memory, and behaviour are experienced, governed, and mediated through the circulation of digital images and systems of mass production.
The event will feature readings from Racheal Crowther, Eilidh Duffy, Elida Silvey, Ethan O’Connor, and Bishwadhan Rai. Copies of the calendar will be available to purchase on the night alongside a scented bookmark, co-developed by Racheal Crowther and Cherry Cheng.
Racheal Crowther lives and works in London. Selected exhibitions include: Gebrauchsmusik, Galerie Noah Klink, Berlin, 2025; Royal Academy Schools Show, Royal Academy of Arts, London, 2024; Managed Decline, 243 Luz, Margate, 2023; Qualified to Care, Ginny on Frederick, London, 2022; Intermission: White Noise Ballrooms, Camden Arts Centre Off-Site Programme, Cork Street Galleries, London, 2020; Hard Shoulder, Peak Gallery, London, 2019.

He is a graduate of the University of Glasgow’s Creative Writing MLitt and Central Saint Martins’ BA Fashion Communication program.

In 2026, Rai was in residence as the Sainsbury Scholar in Fine Arts at the British School of Rome. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma from the Royal Academy Schools and a BA from the Slade School of Fine Art.
