Back by popular demand! Urban Movement Arts returns to the Free Library of Philadelphia to offer a series of adult beginner dance classes. For the Spring, we're having Salsa, Bachata, and Reggaeton classes. Our first class is Beginner Salsa with Laurel!
Embark on a captivating journey of self-expression and rhythm with our solo salsa dance class! Whether you're a seasoned dancer or taking your very first steps, our classes offer a welcoming and dynamic space to explore the vibrant world of salsa.
- Learn foundational salsa steps and techniques.
- Explore body isolations, turns, and footwork patterns.

No partner is required – just come as you are and let the music guide you. Whether you're dancing for fitness, stress relief, or pure enjoyment, our classes offer something for everyone.

Time: 6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Location: Skyline Room, 4th Floor, Parkway Central Library
Recommendations: Wear loose-fitting/comfy clothes, sneakers, and bring your own water (and a towel if you think you'll need one). We do not have a changing room, and the closest water fountain is on the first floor.
