Knitting with Style

About this event
Led by Mei Yuk Wong, an artist and knitter with years of experience designing one-of-a-kind unique pieces.

What you’ll do

• Watch a demonstration of designing and knitting without a pattern.
• Learn simple ways to shape and adjust fit as you knit.
• Make a headband/necklace, or work on your own project with guided support.

Who it’s for

• Beginners to experienced knitters welcome.
• For anyone wanting to explore personal style through knitwear.
• Ages 12+. Under 16s must attend with an adult.

What’s included

• Yarn and needles (for use during the session).
• Demonstration, guided practice, and time for questions.

What to bring

• Optional: bring your own yarn/needles, or a project you’d like to continue.
• Reading glasses if you need them for close-up work.

自信製作編織服飾——不需要圖樣。學習如何塑形、打造風格，並把「失誤」變成設計亮點。

活動簡介

由藝術家兼編織者黃美玉帶領，擁有多年設計獨一無二、具個人特色作品的經驗。

你將會做什麼

• 觀看無需圖樣的設計與編織示範。

• 學習在編織過程中即時塑形與配合身材的簡單方法。
• 製作一條髮帶／項鍊，或在導引下編織你自己的作品。

適合對象

• 初學者至資深編織者皆適合。

• 想在編織穿搭中嘗試個人風格的人。
• 12 歲以上。16 歲以下需由成人陪同出席。

包含內容

• 毛線與針（供課堂期間使用）

• 示範、引導練習，以及提問時間

需要攜帶什麼

• 可選：自備毛線／針，或你想繼續進行的作品

• 如你做近距離手作時需要，可帶閱讀眼鏡
