About this Event
Join us for our Knitting Group at Brompton Library!
We are very excited to announce that we are being Supported by 'Threads of Elegance: Conserving the legacy of Beale and Inman', a Westminster Archives project and will be offering knitting and crochet workshops led by professional knitting teacher Mareta as part of the Brompton Library Knitting Group starting Friday 7 November 2025 - Friday 10 April 2026.
Please note that the crochet workshops will take place every last Friday of the month, starting 28 November 2025 and will also be part of the knitting group.
Come on down to Brompton Library and join Lene and Mareta for our cozy Knitting Group! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
Mareta is a professional teacher of knitting and a designer of knitwear. She will be able to teach you how to knit basic stitches and, once you are comfortable, offer a range of projects for you to choose from and provide support throughout. For knitters who already have some experience, she can help with tricky parts of their current projects or offer guidance with new ones. She has a portfolio of project ideas to inspire and guide students.
Grab your needles and yarn and get ready to stitch and chat with fellow knitting enthusiasts. Share tips, show off your latest projects, or just enjoy the company of like-minded crafters. It's a great way to unwind and get creative. See you there!
We will have knitting needles, crochet hooks and wool for you to use, but please bring your own if you like.
