About this Event

A photoshoot you can't book anywhere else in Seattle.

On Sunday, June 7, knights from Seattle Knights are coming to Starfall in full armor. Three blocks, four photographers per block, a controlled studio environment with continuous lighting set up by me. This is portfolio work most photographers can't get access to — full plate, leather, weapons, and an intimate four-person group.

What you get

90 minutes of active shooting time with the knights, then a 30-minute cooldown and reset at the end of each block. Professional continuous lighting already set up. Small enough group that you can actually direct, experiment, and shoot at your own pace. No fighting for angles with a wedding-sized crowd.

What's in scope

Posed portraits, environmental shots in the studio, short choreographed combat beats (static or slow), and detail/armor close-ups. No live bouts and no full-contact combat — that's all reserved for the main Knight Night Fights event on June 20.

Lighting

Starfall runs continuous lighting (no strobes). The studio will be lit and ready when you walk in. You're welcome to bring anything handheld, on-camera, or clamp-mounted — no light stands. If you need a human to hold a light, Starfall can provide an assistant for that.

After the event

No photo submission required. Your images are yours — share them however you want on your own timeline. After the event, Jason will send every attending photographer a tag sheet with names and social handles for all participating knights so you can credit them properly if you post.

The studio

Starfall Studios — 1,137 sq ft, 14-foot ceilings, full lighting kit, climate-controlled, complimentary drinks, accessible (street-level, no stairs). 4435 35th Ave SW, West Seattle.

Schedule

Sunday, June 7, 2026:

2:00–4:00 PM — Block 1 (90 min shooting / 30 min cooldown)

4:00–6:00 PM — Block 2 (90 min shooting / 30 min cooldown)

6:00–8:00 PM — Block 3 (90 min shooting / 30 min cooldown)
